When does online activity booking shut down prior to embarkation?

Wondering how long I have to make activity changes online prior to embarkation. I'm also a little confused by the cancellation policies since the DIS website says 3 days prior to embarkation, but some state 24 hours before the activity.

Also, I'll just add on here that I hate that they just don't show sold out for Palo and Remy. Having to select the activity then guests only to see no times available gets old.

It varies depending on what sort of "activity" your asking about. Generally, port activities (excursions) must be cancelled 3 days prior to start of cruise, while onboard "activities" (tastings, meet & greets, adult dining) can be cancelled up to 24 hours ahead of reservation.

While all the slots available for the online reservations may be "sold out" there are still reservations available (to be booked onboard).

Online access is removed 3 days prior to embarkation. However, that may or may not coincide with the cancellation policy. As PP mentions, cancellation depends on the type of activity.
