When does Captain EO open?

When Does Captain EO open?
I thought I heard February 2010, but I cant for the life of me find any reliable info on it now. Does anyone know the planned opening date? (And how are they are actually hitting that date usually?) Many thanks!

We were there last weekend and I asked a few CM's. I was told there has not been an official date announced yet. They just keep saying February 2010.

We arrive at VGC for a 7-night stay on Feb. 14, so I've been greedily checking the hours/parades/refurbs, etc. and during our stay, it says that HISTA will be closed (reopening TBD), so I'm hoping that means Captain EO will be open when we're there!

Do you guys think this will cause a major increase in crowds? We are going the first week of March (weekdays only). I was hoping that it would be fairly quiet, but wondering if Captain EO is going to change that and make it busier than it would normally be. Thoughts?

Yes, Captain EO will bring crowds. Additionally, during your dates, there are some schools on Spring Break which will add some visitors to DL.

I never even thought about college spring breaks. I was just thinking about regular school kids and a lot of families coming. Thanks for the list.
