When do your kids have spring break??

My DH and I are trying to decide when we are going to go to WDW in 2008. We don't have kids, so we can go whenever we want to and we like to go when the crowds are down. So I'm trying to get an idea of when in the Spring would be best to go

We dont know when the winter and spring breaks are for school in 2008 until Sept! Sucks when you are trying to plan!

That's true! When in 2007 is spring break?? That will at least give me some idea. I think we are just going to pick a date and not worry about it! I'm thinking about February, then we won't have to worry about it.

Our break is always the entire week before Easter and the Monday after Easter.

If you're thinking about February I'd avoid President's Day. Lots of schools have several days or even the whole week off at that time.

Our spring break is the week of Easter as well. And a lot of us from the
New Orleans area will be there for Mardi Gras 2008 which is Feb.5

A good bet is to avoid the week before and after Easter, but otherwise, school breaks are all over the calendar. DH's is the first week in March.......college.

This year they have off March 31st until April 12th- its a long break!

Not much of a spring break here...we always get just the Thur. & Fri. before Easter & the Monday after.

Ours is always Easter, although the kids have lost their days because of snow days.

You've got college spring breaks to contend with too. They go anywhere from February through April.

Here in NH kids get vacation the week of April 23-27. I think a lot of New England schools have that week off.

Here in our Northside San Antonio school district is it March 12-16...about always same...Mid March

2007 spring break is march 12-16. The 2008-2009 calendar won't be known until the end of May, but in tentative planning stages it is for March 21-28, with a half day March 20. But the tentative plans have been known to change dramatically from month to month up until a few days before being finalized.

Ours is suppose to be March 19-23, but we lost the 19th and 20th due to snow days.
