when do you start the "southwest game"

We are going to Disney May 4th out of BWI and was wondering when Southwest starts selling those seats for that date. Also, do they email when they become available or do I have to keep checking. Thank you!

I think they publish 5 months in advance. But I was able to find the best deal by waiting until the last minute. I guess that's a gamble though! We were prepared to drive if it didn't work out. I waited until 5 weeks before we traveled and found a $39 each way fare. They will email you deals frequently. Just keep watching!

Probably some time in December. We travel from BWI. We just got 49 today. If you want emails every tuesday for the new deal's you need to sign up at southwest.com. Also, you could download the DING software from SWA. It took a minute to download and I get about two DING's a day with the absolute best deals. Read about that at SWA! The only other carrier that flies direct from BWI to MCO is Air Tran. They have a WEndy's deal you might want to look into. It looks too good to be true in that you can buy 132 - .99ct drinks and get the coupons on the back. That amount will get you two free round trips tickets. They already have their MAY flights out so you might want to check them and see if there is a flight you would want anyways.
