When do you send out your Christmas cards?

Well, I try to get them done by Thanksgiving, but ... um.... I have been known to send them in the week between Christmas & New Years.

I send mine out the day after Thanksgiving. My family always looks forward to getting them at the start of the season. (I already have them done and set aside ready for mailing. If I did not do them ahead of time they would never get done.)

I take the kids picture in front of the tree and put them on the card, so I need time to decorate before sending out the cards.

We usually drop them in the mailbox at the post office on Thanksgiving Day (yes, I know the postal service does NOT work that day) though sometimes it's the day before or the day after Thanksgiving.

I aim for having them mailed by December 18th. I actually enjoy preparing for Christmas during December and prefer not to do much Christmas related stuff prior to that. I do have the cards purchased, but only because I happened to run across them.

I ordered mine from snapfish last week and they have shipped so I will address them when I get them and mail them about 2 weeks after thanksgiving. I hate to do it too early, but I don't want to be too late, I aim for middle of the month.
