When do you book for BRP?

This is the part I'm a bit confused about.

I'm planning on staying at the Wilderness Lodge July 10-20. Can I book whenever I wish, and then have the BRP applied to my ressie when it becomes available, or, do I actually have to wait to book when the BRP rate comes out?

Bumping this for ya boomie, b/c I'd like to know the answer to this question as well. I'd really like to get an AP for our July trip and use BRP for the 3 rooms we currently have booked at ASMo. Even a $10 discount per room per night (for 9 nights) would put me ahead of the game.

Hopefully someone will come along and let us know how to book this AP/BRP thing, lol. Oh, and if you ever find out how much $ it is off per room for July, will you please PM me and LMK??? thx

Currently you can only book at BRP rates for arrivals through mid April, so you will have to wait to reserve something for your July dates with BRP. Even then, there is no guarantee that discounted rates will be made available for the dates, hotel and room type you are looking for. I'm currently in this situation myself, waiting for the opportunity to book something at BRP rates for May 2006.

Who can use the BRP (I'm assuming that means Best Rate Plan)?

BRP is for AP ticket holders and those with AP vounchers (ask for your AP # when you order your vouchers)
