When do tickets get mailed to you?

Hi all,


WDW vet here. Only tickets we’ve been getting mailed to us since 2012 with magic bands being introduced is MNSSHP and Boo Bash.

When will DL send the tickets? They are like the old hotel card style tickets correct?

Also are lanyards a good bet to have to wear them or at least keep them in while one person holds them?

For normal park tickets? DLR will not send you anything at all. When you go thru the gates the first day they will give you a paper ticket. They are also kinda useless during your park day beside entry unless you have Genie+ or I believe DAS.

You should have your ticket barcode in your app already. That's all you need. You will get a paper ticket at the turnstiles upon first entry after they take your photo. You never need to use that ticket again. Stick it in your wallet and forget about it. Use your phone for scanning into the parks and when redeeming lightning lanes if you use G+/ILL.
