We are going to DLP at start of the xmas season 10th-14th Nov 2008
I dont think they do fireworks then do they? :confused3

Ive seen clips on You Tube and they do some beautiful displays! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know the seasons or months that DLP show firework?

Unfortunately you will miss seeing the Bonfire Spectacular on Lake Disney, as the last one is on the 7th November this year. The next fireworks aren't until New Years Eve.

My understanding is that fireworks are done for St David's Day, St Patricks Day, Bastille Day, the 2 months of Summer, Bon Fire Night and New Years Eve. I also believe its done for Halloween sometimes.

I watched the firework display on new yrs eve on YOU TUBE and all i can say is ''WOW'' ;)
So beautiful, and i was only watching it from my computer screen so i can imagine the atmosphere if i was actually there.

My hubby and i were talking about how it would be nice to go to DLP one time during New Yrs Eve as the atmosphere looks fab, we thought about doing maybe 1 night 2days in the park and maybe staying at the Santa Fe...(as a cheaper option)
It would be something nice to do for New Years eve as we are usually normally stuck as to what to do every New Yr as there isnt usually anywhere to go thats suitable for adults AND Little ones together so we normally just stay home.
DLP would be a great idea for both me & hubby and our Little one to celebrate New Year

I know what you mean Sara, it's something I've thought about but reading about the crowds there at NYE always puts me off.
You're right about the fireworks, we saw the ones at the press event last year and they were out of this world, definately the best display I've ever seen. I've just bought a DVD with Wishes on, again it's spectacular, I would love to see that for real, will have to plan a Summer trip. ;)

My friend went for the last new year. She says she is glad she went for the experience but never again at that time of year as the crowds were huge.

I can only imagine, the crowds just after last easter were really bad when we went so I reckon it was a lot worse at new year.

I have been in the summer when they have done fireworks but that was before Wishes so I would like to go again to see this.
