When do the shops at the front of the park open?

On May 5th I'd love to get all the pins that are coming out for the celebration, but also want to be at MK for rope drop (I'm nuts!), but then we leave to 1900 PF from breakfast...
When do the shops at the front of the park open? At opening time or a little before? I was thinking of being at AK when the shop opens then leaving for MK. Would this maybe work?

At all parks were open,with the exception of MK which is behind entrance ques.We are always at park 45 minutes be for official opening hours and have seen them open.It would be hard to be at AK and then jump over to MK as stated in your post.Only way I can see that plan working is if AK is early entry park and MK not.If you are driving it would help also over trying to this depending on WDW transportation.I hope this helps a little,have a magical vacation.
