When do the Halloween decorations come down?

I will be visiting DL for the first time next weekend. I'm curious if there will still be Halloween decorations or fall decorations up or if we will start to see the Christmas décor or if the park will be void of seasonal decorations all together. It certainly doesn't matter and I'll be thrilled regardless but just curious which "season" I'll be celebrating! :)

I've read that in years past, they begin the transition immediately after Halloween. So you might see some remnants of Halloween and the start of the Holidays (three are already some Holiday decor up in the parks!).

Some area's of the park are already seeing Christmas decorations.... I read on Mousewait.com.

Total guess here - I bet they take down the most prominent Halloween stuff first, like the giant mickey pumpkin in Disneyland, and everything will be gone before the official start of the Christmas season. (Nov. 11th??) I think areas that only have Christmas decor are already getting those decorations, but areas that have both Halloween and Christmas will be a quick change out right after Halloween.

My sister has been on November 1st and the big things are already down. Disney has people working there 24 hrs a day and the night shift usually is very good at getting things up and down quickly. Unfortunately, even if there are remnants, the lights won't be on, so you won't get the full effect.

Also, be prepared because next weekend it's Dapper Day! It is very cool to see people in all their outfits, but does lead to higher crowds. And sometimes more ride breakdowns, as people's hats/accessories can fall off and get in the tracks!

We were there last year, I think November 1st, and they were already down. The nightmare before Christmas was there though, I am not sure if that is Christmas or Halloween or maybe both?? That was the highlight of our trip. I've never seen the haunted Mansion like that and it was so awesome.

We were there last year for this and while I didn't know why all the rides were breaking down, that certainly explains it! lol

The HM overlay stays up through the holiday season, so that will definitely be there!

Oh, and ride breakdowns do lead to taking a selfie with Zurg in your Dapper Day finery! Buzz broke down while we were one it and everyone had to walk out, so there were lots of people stopping to take photos!
