When do photo pass pictures expire (with Platinum AP)

So I've got a Platinum AP, which doesn't expire until the spring, so I've got included Photo Pass/Memory Maker, whatever it's called. I have photos from my September Trip and I have photos from my November trip on there. I THOUGHT that my photos aren't supposed to expire until after my AP expires, but today I got an email that I have photos which expire on December 18th, and now I'm confused.

Also, I downloaded them to my laptop, but the download page says that 'downloads expire in 7 days' ??? What the heck?

Photopass pictures used to be only viewable for 30 or 60 days, don't remember which. They do not hang around until your AP expires.

I got the same type of email a couple weeks ago and when I went in to double check and make sure I had downloaded them all I saw the expiration date on them was May when my pass ends not the date given on the email. The date given on the email was over a week ago and my photos are still there-try logging into photopass again and see what the expiration date says for your photos.

What you said is true generally speaking but seems to have changed when they added photopass to the new AP-AP members get longer access to their photos as another bonus.
My photos from my Oct trip say they expire when my pass does in May 2016

Disney PhotoPass Expiration Policy:

If you are a Disney Premier, Disney Platinum Plus, Disney Platinum, or Disney Gold annual passholder, all photos and other digital content associated with your Disney account that were taken at Walt Disney World Resort (and Disneyland Resort, if applicable) by Disney PhotoPass photographers, as well as photos and other digital content taken on select attractions and at select dining locations while your qualifying annual pass is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park will be available for download until they expire 365 days after they are captured. All photos or other digital content, as available, captured before or after the period that your qualifying annual passport is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken.
