When do our 2018 points become available to use?

I am wanting to book a trip for april 2017 and our use year is march. We have points available for 2017 but not enough for what we want to do for the april 2017 trip. When can we borrow from 2018?

If you can book it, you can borrow for it. Use year has nothing to do with when you can make the reservation. It only determines which points you can use.

For a trip in April 2017, you can book your home resort in May 2016, or any other resort in September 2016. With a March use year, you can use banked points from 2016, current 2017 points, and you can borrow from 2018.

If you check your account online, you will see March 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. So the 2018 points are already in your account.

Your 2018 points are available for reservations that you book that fall in your 2017 UY. So any trip starting March 1st, 2017, you can borrow those points. For an April 2017 trip, you can call in May 2016 (11 months in advance) to book and those points will be eligible for borrowing.
