When do Christmas decorations go up???

We went 12-12 to 12-19 and my brother and I (high-school age) missed a very important "concert band" concert and didn't see eye-to-eye with the band director on make-up work.

We like going in December (short lines, cool decorations, few crowds), and we LOVE seeing the Christmas decorations. If we go a bit earlier (like the 3rd-ish), would the decorations be up?

They will definitely be up. I know from years past we were down the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and the park and resorts looked normal. We got up that Wednesday morning and EVERY thing was decorated. It was so cool. We were also down around 12/2 two years ago and everything was decorated. They're starting the MVMCP earlier this year so I'm thinking the decorations will start earlier too.

When i went in November, the big tree at the magic kingdom, enar the castle, already had lights and bubls on it

We were there for Halloween. On Nov 1st+ Halloween was gone and we started seeing Christmas decorations at MK and Ak. Tons of Christmas merchandise was also available in the stores. Soooo....if you want Halloween stuff, if you snooze you lose.

Christmas decorating begins right after Halloween and they are completely gone around January 10 or 12.
