... do they give much advance notice? I was just thinking back on attractions I loved in the past, and how I wish they were still around. It makes me wonder what attractions might be next on the chopping block. How far in advance of an attraction's final closure does Disney usually make it known?

Any opinions/guesses on what might be next to close/be replaced?

I know there there was a good amount of notice about snow white (still not over that...). Enough that last time I was there, I knew it would be gone by next time. Don't remember the exact timeline though.

Well usually what is announced is what will be replacing it. Disney announced camp Minnie mickeys closure before they started construction earlier this year. The parade in AK ends in June and was announced to be leaving earlier this year. Disney doesn't like to let things sit so they would have to have something in place to replace what is leaving.

How long after 2K Leagues closed before any of the space was used? River country? Wonders of Life? Sky bucket stations? How long after horizons before Mission space?

Well Epcot itself has a lot of former things that are just sitting there. River country and discovery island are two things that are for a different discussion. I guess I was thinking more recent though. Within the last 10 years or so disney hasn't let much just sit around yes the sky bucket station were there but they were more hidden and were used as stroller parking. New fantasyland took care of those remnants.

Crap... I didn't know that about the Jammin Jungle Parade. It's my favorite. :~(

Second floor of the Imagination pavilion? Sounds Dangerous (even if it was terrible)? Diamond Horseshoe? Discovery River Boats? Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends?
