I always wondered when Disneyland debuted Belle as a character? Because I know that Beauty And The Beast debuted in 1991 but when I went to Disneyland for the very first time I don't recall seeing Belle in 1991. Was Belle added to Disneyland in 1992? I also noticed that if you look for Belle in Disneyland the village dress version of Belle is very easy to meet and greet but when I met Belle in 1998 for Christmas she had her yellow ballgown and this version of Belle is rare to meet and greet. Is the Belle in the village dress the more popular version to meet and greet now and was she the first version of Belle that Disneyland debuted in 1992?
