When can we get our tickets?

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but just wanted to make sure. We have reservations at ASMusic in May and we are getting the free ticket upgrade. We were thinking about renting DVC points from a neighbor for a couple days of the trip either before or after the ASMU portion. If we check in to DVC before, would we have access to our tickets we are getting with the package at ASMu? or do we need to do ASMu first? I would love to check in to DVC first because we could do 3 nights at the cheaper rates, but if we check in after we can only get 2 nights that aren't on the weekend, because we are arriving on a Tuesday. I hope my question makes sense. Thanks!

Your tickets, as part of the package, will only be available when you check-in at ASMu.
