When can I make ressies for 2010?

I just found out yesterday that we are going to go back in May 2010 and I was wondering when we can make ressies at the onsite hotels.

We have always stayed offsite at a villa but this time its just going to be me and my 2 kids so I thought it would be best if we stayed onsite and that way if we need any help or something comes up we will have somebody around. Hubby is going on a motorcycle trip out west with his work buddies so I told him that he can go out west and I would take the kids and head back south.

Ive never been anywhere like that by myself so to be honest im kinda looking forward to it. Just me and the kids for 2 whole weeks. I can see it now, we can play in the water for as long as we want to with nobody hurrying us along or be anywhere at any certain time. (my hubby is always in a rush) I love him, he's a great hubby and dad but he seems to always be hurrying somewhere. I guess its a work related illness. LOL

I cant wait and my son is thrilled because I think next year is when the Harry Potter section opens up at IOA so we'll be planning to seeing that and going to Seaworld to ride Manta too.. Im already getting hyped.

You can book your room onsite now, but will only be able to purchase your tickets or any packages after the 2010 rates come out (usually in August).

We have already booked our room for March. We had to pay a deposit of one full night at this year's rate and they will contact us when the new rates come out to make any adjustment based on the 2010 rates.

It means we are signed up to take the full rack rate for the room, but I'm hoping they will relase some type of package to better that - if not, I am still thrilled to be going! (And if we cancel, we can get our deposit refunded.)

You will have a great time staying on site - it will be complete relaxation!

When you make your reservation that far out, will they allow you to start making payments? How far out would they allow you to register, and start payments? Thanks,

Once you make the reservation you can start making payments right away. One thing though, if you want to change to a package once they are released, any money you have paid on your room only reservation will be refunded to you and you will need a whole new reservation with a new deposit. They can't transfer the money from one to the other. This happened to me for our trip in April, no real big deal. As soon as the refund hit, I charged it right back.

When the rates are released all the various pricing seasons will be released at the same time.
