I have been watching the fare from Newark to Orlando in early November ("Jersey Week"). The lowest round trip fare is around $400. They've got to be kidding!! Most of the seats on the flights are empty because the fare is outrageous.

Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone have any idea when they will come to their senses and lower the fare to fill their planes? There must be a lot of other people waiting as well. Usually the flights during Jersey Week are pretty full.

I've never paid more than about $250 to fly to Orlando. That includes Easter week this year.

Disneymom1.......Depending where you live is it possible for you to fly out of laguardia? Song is much cheaper there than out of Newark.I got rt $115 with taxes for the end of october. It may be something to consider....Good Luck!!!

If all you are going on is the seat maps don't assume the flights are empty. Tour operators and some TAs don't always book seats so the flights may be fuller then they appear.

As to coming to their senses it all depends, they may not. That is just the risk you take. Considering it is 60 days out now I would not hold out a lot of hope, but you never know.

I agree if you can fly out of Laguardia it is much cheaper. We are flying the middle of Oct. on Song, our tickets were about $100 less per ticket.
