When can I buy air tickets for next years trip?

I know I can't purchase tickets until 330 days from my trip. However, this would have to be 330 days from my return date, correct? If I want to go April 22-April 30 I would have to count from April 30th? I actually have miles I want to try to "cash" in for tickets, so I am wondering what my best strategy would be.

You should be able to buy tickets for your outbound leg (Apr 22) on May 26th of this year. For your return trip (April 30th) you should be able to purchase them on June 3rd of this year.
