When can I book rooms for the week of Apr28-May5, 2012? Also how do I check AAA rate?

we're starting to plan our April/May 2012 vacation. Do you know when I will be able to reserve a hotel room? (I'm thinking we're too far out right now). Also, I have an AAA membership -- is there a way to check their rates directly on the Universal website or do I have to go through the AAA website?

We were able to call Hard Rock Hotel directly (loews) and they were able to give us the current AAA rates that were available.

In the past, you couldnt book the next year's vacation until late fall.

I just called to ask when I could book for April 1st (our spring break next year). She said the prices usually come out in mid-July/August at the latest.
