When can I book ADRs for our off-site stay at a "friendly" hotel?

We have our first off-site stay coming up in December...we're staying at the DoubleTree @ DS...

I know on-site can book 60+10 days before the trip but what is different for our off-site hotel? Can I book just 60 days each day so I have to get up early each day for the 3 days @ the 60 day mark?

and in April we're visiting Cocoa Beach and are really off-site, so is that the same rule as above or do booking dining ADRs drop to 30 days prior?

Thanks!!

You can book 60 days before each day, one day at a time, when you don’t have a Disney resort reservation for that date.

The “friendly” hotels get no advantage on making ADRs. As CarolynFH says, if you aren’t in a Disney Resort Hotel list (which includes Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green) it is 60 days ahead for each day. No 60+.

and we are eligible for early entry, but not extended hours and we can't book Genie +s until the park opens right? So if MK opens at 8:30AM early entry, we can go in early and ride a ride but can't book a Genie+ until 9am right?

anything else I'm missing?

Thanks!!!

I think you’ve got it. 😀

Just to clarify - at an off-site hotel, you can book Genie+ at 7 am like everyone else. It is the Individual Lightning Lanes (the top ride at each park that you pay extra to skip the line) that guests at on-site hotels get to purchase at 7 am but off-site guests have to wait until park opening to purchase.

THANK YOU to everyone with all your fabulous advice and tips!!

I ended up cancelling our off-site stay at the DT @ DS and I found a great king room at POFQ so now we're ON-SITE!!

anything in particular I need to know about POFQ since it's our first stay there? What building would you recommend for a king room?

Thanks!

We will be at WDW and SOG in November. SOG guests ARE eligible for extended evening hours. See EEH on disneyworld.disney.go site. Also, you will notice that the SOG reservation can be entered in MDE. Therefore, SOG guests can make ADRs 60+ days. We were able to make ADRs for three days on the first day we hit 60 days out.

On a side note, only Main Street, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland in MK are open at the early entry. So get there for 7DMT and Peter Pan Flight. Rope drop for the other areas takes place at official park open.
