When are you staying around the Easter holiday?

I'm just doing an impromtu survey to find out when the most people will be in WDW during Easter. My daughter's school has off the whole week after Easter this year, but due to airfare unavailability, we couldn't get a reasonalble flight until Mar. 30. So we are staying until April 6. The litlle one will miss 3 days of school. But that's ok. I just want to see what the trend was. Are there alot of you out there that have the same week and the same amount of time off that we do? What are the crowds usually like?

DD25 and myself will be staying at BWV the week before Easter. We checkin on Saturday the 19th and checkout Friday, the 25th. We were at WDW the same time last year and the crowds were huge, so we know what to expect this time. Since it will be just the two of us, DW can't make this trip and since DD and both love rides while DW doesn't; I hope we can get in as many rides on TT, RnR, MS and SM that we can. Plus we plan on eating at some restaurants we don't usualy eat at. This will be our first time staying at an Epcot resort and I plan on spending alot of time just wandering around Epcot. We might not hit the other parks as much this trip. We're both looking forward to this trip alot.

Dh and some friends of ours are checking into a One Bedroom at the BCVs on Friday March 25. The we move to a studio there on Easter Sunday when our friends go home. We check out on Thursday March 31.

We're at the BCV (family of 5 plus one of my DS's friends) March 20 to March 25. I'm worried about the crowds being the week of Easter. We've never been to WDW so close to the Easter holiday.

We're then going to head over to Tampa/St. Pete for a couple of days before going back home.

Were leaving March 24th (thurs) no school on Friday as its good friday and they have the next week off also.

I tried to book airlines on Friday (and I booked as soon as the airlines would let me last year) but it was already booked- and my call was like at 9am)

My 11 yr old twins will miss a week and one day (thurs) as were staying until April 8th.

Staying at OKW till April 3rd then over to AKL Conc. till the 8th.

We will be at VWL from 3/26 to 4/1 in a 1BR. DW is a teacher so we go when school is out. IT WILL BE CROWDED but at least we know what to expect.

We are staying at the VWL from 3/24 - 3/28 then driving to the Ron Jon Caribe resort and staying there until 4/3. We were able to get more reasonable airfare by flying into Orlando and out of Daytona Beach.

We won't be at WDW...but at Vero instead. Our Spring Break is always the first full week in April (3-8 this year).

Personally I avoid Spring Break at WDW. If there is a year when our break is significantly earlier or later than Easter week, we might consider it. I don't think it will ever be more that 2 weeks either way though...and you have to consider college Spring Breaks too.

We arrive 3/25 for two nights at AKL and then head over to BCV. We depart 4/1. I was able to book great airfare in September with Spirit.

My son's spring break always falls on the first week of April; so sometimes Easter is in that week, and like this year, it is not. Makes it easier to plan each year. We will be staying at the BWV from April 3-11. We couldn't get a flight back until the 11th, so had to extend our stay by one more day and pull son our of school for that Monday. Can't say we are unhappy about that!

I just got airfare from SW for 140.00 leaving on Tues. Mar. 29th and returning on April 3rd.

Wow, that's great airfare for Easter week. Good for you!!

Plans have changed a few times for Easter vacation, but as of now I'll be at SSR Mar. 24-27, then BWV Mar. 27-Apr. 3. I'm pretty used to managing the crowds at peak times, since that's often when I have to do my vacationing.
