When are you pushed out of the parks?

With regards to each of the 4 parks. When are you actually pushed out? Say the park closes at 9, 10, 11, whatever. How long before they don't let you wander around, waiting for the crowds to thin, bus lines to dwindle?

Never "pushed out."

But, they like guests to move on from the far south areas of World Showcase by an hour, or so after closing time.

Guests can linger in the parks for a "reasonable" amount of time.
Figure 60-90 minutes is reasonable.

Oh wow, so you can stay at the castle for like an hour after closing? Or the tree at AK?

What about Pandora, can you stay there to enjoy the nighttime stuff well after closing?

My sister in particular is a fan of sticking around, and typically once you get to the 30 minute mark you start getting funneled to the front of the park very politely; and by the 45 minute mark CM's get more forceful. Out of respect for the CM's I personally would not hang around for more than an hour.

We stayed late in DHS wandering the stores waiting for the bus lines to dwindle. Left about 45 mins after park closing. When we got to our bus stop I found that they were combining guests from AoA and Pop onto one bus, making 2 stops. Never felt 'pushed' out but also didn't want CM to stay extra late just because of me. They wanted to go home. They're working not on vacation so I'm conscious of their time.

We were at AK one year with 5p closing, and Nemo had a 5p show. So we got out at 545 or so, and it was after sunset. Nothing much to see (no shops open), so we just left. It was spooky seeing AK so empty and quiet!

We were on one of the very last FoP rides one evening in August. Park closed at 9:30 pm and we were probably off of FoP around 10 pm. Pandora was gorgeous when we came out and the park was empty, but I got the sense from the CM's who were standing around that they really wanted us to leave at that point (they weren't being pushy, just waving and saying "good night" as in "goodbye!"). Unless you are on one last ride at closing or one last show, there is really nothing to do or see once the park is closed.

This. Quite honestly, to me it is just disrespectful to hang around lingering "just because" after the park has closed. I've worked in jobs where people did that. It's not pleasant, and we didn't get paid overtime for the lingerers.

Some people do linger for a while. Back when I was a CM there was a preview of the 4th of July fireworks for CM's in Epcot that was supposed to start at 11pm with a 9pm park close. The preview was delayed for at leash 30 mins as all the guests hadn't left the park yet.

I agree with others though, that it's inconsiderate to stay too long as you're forcing CM's to stay late at work as those CM's can't finish their shift until you go home. I do sometimes stay a little bit though, like other posters have mentioned, to wait until the worst of the crowds have left and the bus lines to be shorter. I'll usually browse the shops or watch the goodnight kiss if I'm in MK.

I’m pretty sure Disney is paying the CMs who close. Otherwise they’d be violating various employment laws.

OP Based on the times you gave for park close I assume you mean a regular night but if you happen to be there during a ticketed event (holiday parties at MK or Star Wars galactic nights at DHS) expect to be asked to leave once the special event starts. Party guests are paying for more than just the rides and cast members will look for wrist bands to ensure those you didn’t pay leave (or whatever credentials they give at the Star Wars night)

We were in Epcot until a bit after ten when it had a posted closing of 9pm back in 2016. We were staying at BC and we were just outside of Canada. Kids were dancing to this really cool music playing over the speakers. I later found the music on an Epcot soundtrack it was the music from the long gone tapestry of nations. My favorite memory of my kids in Disney that trip by far! Dancing their hearts out! We walked out of international gateway a little after ten and there were still people milling around and I never felt pushed.

They do keep Main Street stores opens and the CM are set to work at lest one hour after the park close. So I would not feel bad about waiting: looking / doing some last minutes shopping and letting the crowds die down at the bus but like others said after an hour you should be moving toward the exit
