Saw the list of new DCL cruises released, but no Panama Canal cruises. When are they typically released? Do we know which ship will sail there? TIA!!

They are not sending the Magic to the west coast in the Fall of 24. Don't know when DCL will send another ship through the canal again. It's not a regular thing since the Wonder stayed on the west coast.

I guess we can hope they send one through Spring of 25 while the Wonder is in Austrailia. 🤞🏻

As above. Usually the PC cruises were Feb to go to the West Coast and then it comes back later in the year. This year was the first year they are doing it differently and sending the Magic over in October. Whether they will send her over in 2025 or not no one really knows yet but I think if they do it will be back to the spring crossing. They may however decide not to send her over at all and not bother with the PC crossing. The Wonder will be doing Alaska during summer 2025 from the looks of the cruises released (Australia during winter) so it may be they just keep the one ship over there.

I don’t think we’ll see another PC until the Wonder retires and they have to send another ship to do Alaska OR they base the Wonder permanently in Aus/NZ, since it seems like the Australia/NZ cruises are selling well.

Probably not. The Wonder comes back to Vancouver in February 2025 from Hawaii, so I’m assuming that it will do Spring Pacific Coast itineraries until it goes back up to Vancouver for the Alaska cruises. From the look of it, they really don’t have any reason to do PC cruises as long as the Wonder continues to do Alaska/Pacific Coast/Hawaii/South Pacific/Australia/NewZealand as its routes and the Magic sticks with Carribean/Mexico routes. With the Dream doing Transatlantic/Europe/Carribean and the Fantasy doing Carribean/Bermuda and the Wish doing Bahamian cruises, they kind of have all the routes so far pretty well covered. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to send the Magic over to the Pacific with the Wonder over there all year. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I meant more Jan and Feb for the Magic in Mexico while the Wonder was in Australia. Who knows when the Treasure comes out what they'll do.

Ooh! Wouldn’t that be cool? I’d love it if they would send the Magic over there and then do some cruises down to Costa Rica and Panama from the Pacific Coast! Why not, if they have three or even four ships already in the Caribbean for spring once the Treasure gets going?
