When are Fantasmic & World of Color Dinner Packages released?

I'm visiting Disneyland Dec 1st & 2nd with my Mom, Aunt & Grandma. This is my Mom & Grandma's first time there (and my Grandma's first time to a Disney park!) and I want to share with them my Disney passion so thought getting dinner packages for both Fantasmic & World of Color would be a great idea since we will only have 2 days in the park and won't have the opportunity to see the shows again (so want to get a good spot without waiting / running to get a FP - trying to optimize our time there!). I have been patiently waiting to make a dining reservations and checking everyday to see if the dates are released. I just checked and the December 1st reservations have opened up however there is no availability for either of these dinner packages. From listening to the Disneyland podcasts I thought they didn't go as quickly as Disney World reservations go....or am I wrong?

Does anyone know if the dinner packages for Fantasmic & World of Color are released later than all other dining reservations? Perhaps when the Park Hours are posted?? Right now you can only see park hours up until Nov 13th. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

The reservations for all of November's Fantasmic and WOC dining packages just opened up this last Wednesday, September 30th at 3:00am PT. If December follows the same pattern, you may be stuck waiting until the end of the month. I would recommend bookmarking the website (https://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/disneyland/fantasmic-dinner-packages/) and checking every morning and afternoon. The website began loading the available dates and times on Tuesday, September 29th, but when I tried to clicking on the links to make a reservation, the website would tell me nothing was available. When I called Disneyland Dining they told me the links weren't active yet, but to try the next day. I set my alarm for 2:55am on 9/30, and found the links still unresponsive, but kept trying every few seconds. They appeared to go live shortly after 3am.

P.S. I just checked the website and there is still availability for both November 1st and also during Thanksgiving week (when I will be going), for parties of 4 at multiple seating times, so it looks like setting my alarm for 3 o'clock in the morning was unnecessary! :rotfl2:

Thank you SO much Stephanie for this.....I guess I will have to just sit back and wait ;) Thanks for tip of not getting up so early.....but at least you know you got what you wanted!! Have a great trip :D

Disneyland Dining reservations are typically released 60-days in advance (one day at a time). For the last few months there have been issues when a new month is due to load (October and November reservations). So normally, the packages should be available for the December 1st starting today, it may not be until later this month when the system is fully loaded. Just keep checking and eventually they'll be loaded into the system. It is worth nothing that for DLR, if you check for a reservation at the 60-day mark and nothing comes out, it most likely means that the reservations have not yet been released (opposed to already fully booked). You can usually get reservations at DLR with only a few weeks to go.

Thank you!! I'm use to WDW and have only been to DL once before and we didn't do much planning for it so new to this way of booking - I have to get use to the idea that you don't have to jump on reservations right away like WDW :flower3:
