When are cancelled ADR's back in the system?

Do they go back in the system immediately...or not until the next day? Is there a time the system "resets" or might a previously unavailable reservation pop up at any time during the day?

I have seen one recently pop up immediately, but most others seem to take a few hours - unless someone else grabs them first.

In the past cancelled reservations showed up immediately which is how people were able to co-ordinate on the monthly cancellation threads. Now, however, with all the glitches and quirks of the new system it's hard to tell.
