When a non-member should start posting to rent

We are thinking of renting a 2 BDR with this *** most likely around *** [a holiday.] I was just wondering when I should start posting on the rent/trade board. Also, what are my chances of being able to rent a 2 bedroom or possibly a treehouse villa?

owners can already book their home resort. if your plans are firm, i'd go ahead and start looking. you would need to find an SSR owner to book the treehouse villas at this point. in october, any DVC owner can book there (assuming there is still availability.)

I rented my OKW stay approximately 2 or 3 months in advanced. I would start sooner since you are going during a holiday and especially since you are requesting a new resort.
