Are you able to rent a wheelchair at your resort for the week?

Hi and to disABILITIES!

The immediate answer to your question is no. The Resorts do have loaner wheelchairs, but they are generally not the best and available only on a first-come, first-served basis.

However, If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information. Post #2 discusses mobility and stamina problems and give suggestions for off-site locations to rent wheelchairs and/or eCVs.

I just came on this board to ask pretty much the same question. When we go with my dad in September I think we may need to rent a wheelchair. Some days are better than others for him but I think it would be helpful to have one when walking around the resort as well as in the parks.

We have rented from Care Medical twice. They are fantastic.
