Wheelchairs in stroller parking?

My parents are going with us on our daughters dance trip next June/July. My mom is in her 70's. 2 winters ago she broke her leg and she's had a chronic knee injury for the last 10 years or so. She can walk short distances and prefers to do so as sitting too long makes her leg cramp up (both injuries are the same leg). However, she can't walk distances or for any length of time. Their plan is to pack her wheelchair. We're planning on staying in each land until we're "done" there and then moving on. Possible to park her chair in a stroller parking in each land and come back for it as needed or as we're leaving that land if she doesn't need it while there? Or is this frowned upon?

I do this with my chair all the time. Some areas have ecv parking areas as well. You can use either. But consider some of the queues you may be going through, including wait times. Some queues are long in distance or long in wait times or both. She may want to take the chair through the queue for those rides. Other lines (like Splash Mountain) have stairs that she might want to avoid

Thank you She won't be riding too many rides. I'm thinking maybe PotC may be as wild as she'll get, lol. Mostly she plans on shopping, people watching, and trying foods she's heard about but not had (her first trip to the World). She'll be my younger daughters "hang back" buddy while my dad rides with the rest of us.

as someone with knee problems PotC is one of lines I would use my chair but remember you have to use theirs as they can not move chair to off load area. it is a long walk thru even if you do not have a wait in line

This only applies to ECVs. They must be left outside. Any regular wheelchair is allowed through the queue as long as it doesn't have a motor. Actually, I prefer people with personal chairs, as Disney's chairs are rickety and don't always roll too well. It makes them hard to run to the unload area.

Thank you everyone! I haven't ever needed, or been with anyone that needed, any assistance before so I've never really paid any attention. We'll definitely be taking her own chair. Here at home she doesn't use it often at all but we went to a smallish local amusement park this summer and she used it a bit to get around. We're going on the assumption that she'll definitely need it at Disney.

I would have her take in lines with her as she can sit while in line so she can make it longer in the park. if she is going to be waiting with younger child while others are in line to ride make sure child has used bathroom before rest get in line. she could have some trouble getting herself and child to restroom by herself if she needs someone to push her. just something to think about
