Wheelchair accessible travel from disney hotel to universal?

My dd is in a non folding wheelchair that we use for transport with tie downs. We are using dme for airport transportation so will have no car or car seat. The wheelchair is too large for a trunk anyway. Are the $20 shuttles accessible? I was hoping to be able to take her to see barney. I priced out a private wheelchair transport service and it was $190.

1) MEARS runs a shuttle from WDW resorts to Universal.
2) Just ask for a bus with a chair lift.

Mears also has accessbile taxi cabs as well. Which depending on your party size it may be cheaper to take the cab than to pay for the shuttle for everyone.
