Wheel Chair Rentals for a few days

We are going to Disneyland in a couple of weeks. My dad is coming with us and will need a wheelchair. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for renting one and having it delivered to the hotels. We are staying at the Worldmark Anaheim right by the garden walk. our plan was to walk to and from the parks each day as its not too long of a walk and we could push my dad along in a wheelchair and stroll the little ones. I have looked for an off-site delivery company and only found that we can rent one at the front of Disneyland but it would be easier if we could have one to take for the 3-4 days he is joining us

We have rented scooters from Deckart's Surgical in Anaheim with excellent results every time. They have always delivered to our hotel. We called this past trip as we were considering a wheelchair and they quoted us $10 a day.

May I suggest a scooter instead of a manual wheelchair? There's a lot of walking, and several hills throughout the parks. Pushing a grown person (especially in addition to a stroller!) seems minor now, but by mile 8, your legs are burning, your feet are aching, your arms feel like jelly, and you still have the better part of a mile too push that wheelchair to the hotel...

Deckerts rents scooters, drops off and picks up at your hotel, and gets some serious love here on the Dis!

I would suggest a scooter if none of you are used to pushing a chair in the parks all day. Apple scooters us very nice to deal with and will drop off and pick up at most hotels in the area.

If you are going to stick with a manual chair, try calling Worldmark first and see if they have one you can borrow for the length of your stay, I know they used to, but that was a few years ago. As I recall you had to put down a refundable deposit, but it was otherwise free.

thank you for all the info, I think we have the info to get one booked. Sadly my dad told me H Now when I mention a scooter and is very reluctant to even let us get him a wheelchair. I think we may just book a scooter and tell him thats all we could find

I like the way you think!
You'll have the scooter for the trip. If your dad doesn't want to use it that's fine. Someone else can enjoy riding the scooter until he does.
Trying to get one at the moment you need it can be a challenge. Good for you planning ahead of time.

For the past several trips I have booked a scooter for me.
I could go without but the amount of walking is tremendous. For me to enjoy a trip a scooter is a must.
I mainly use it to go to and from the parks. Once in the parks I usually park it in the land and stroll with my group.
It is a real lifesaver for long waits. Being able to sit is greatly appreciated.

I've used three different scooter rental places. They've all been fine.
