Whee! Just booked last minute trip!

I just couldn't stand one more non disney minute and managed to get an awesome AAA rate ($87 per night) at the Best Western right across the street.

So just grab my annual pass and pop my Twilight audio books in the car and I'm off!

That's awesome. I'm SO jealous of you DISers that are within a reasonable driving distance. It's a production for us to get there, so we are limited to once a year.

That's how I feel about those lucky duckies that live near WDW. And DL is still a six hour drive and I'll going solo so all the driving is down to me. And I'll probably leave at 2am so I can make rope drop

Our last trip, we had to be up by 3 AM to catch our 6 AM flight and were in the parks by 9:30. By about 4 PM we were stick-a-fork-in-us done.

When we fly to CA and FL we typically book the 6am flight. We have to get up super early and leave the house by 3:45am to get to the airport. For CA it's great because we land around 10am. We're so excited that we aren't even that tired.

8am and here I am! The drive was long but it's over and my room was ready so I can't decide whether to head to the park or take a much needed nap since I never went to bed last night!

Nope, the weather is gorgeous--70-ish and brillant sun. Having an early lunch at the Carnation Cafe then heading over to DCA for TSMM
