I went to help my dh do something yesterday and his response to me was "I got it" I said "I was just trying to help" and he came out with

"Too many noodles in the pot spoil the stew"

Stupid saying but it was pretty funny at the time.

Mine is " Living Green with Shades of Gray" I read it. I've been on this journey for the last 15 months with our diets & becoming aware of how my actions impact the enviroment. I'm still learning alot...so I can't claim to live green.

Just trying to keep things in perspective. The last few months, my phrase of the moments seemed to be " It sucks to be me"

It seems the one we use around here the most lately, is "SERIOUSLY?!" Which usually, is followed by "SERIOUSLY?!" at least 3 more times. Got it from Grey's Anatomy episode.

I picked up some quotes from that show also. Such as, "stop looking at my va jj" and "it's time to feed the beast". And this quote to my lazy teens, "S*** or get off the pot".

I have a few these days - my favorite one- "Shut my mouth and slap your grandma!"

In my best Dr. Phil voice - "what were you thinking???!!!" and "How's that workin' for ya?!"

As my kids (particularly oldest dd -10) have been whining about things not being fair, "Life isn't fair" and "You made the choice to (fill in the blank), now deal with the consequences."
