What's your opinion of housekeeping at OKW?

Does the level of service provided by housekeeping meet with your expectations?

  • Housekeeping at OKW is absolutely the best. Everything is always done well. My hat is off to them!

  • I am pretty satisfied. There have been occasional concerns, but they are attended to promptly.

  • I don't have an opinion one way or another. It's just not a concern for me.

  • The level of service is below what I expect, but I try not to let it bother me.

  • I'm quite dissatisfied. Housekeeping almost always forgets something or does a poor job.

  • I’ve just about given up on them.

Just wondering how my fellow members feel about the level of service they are receiving at OKW. Thanks for your input!

I only stayed at OKW once, but was satisfied. On the other hand, I gotta put a huge vote in for BWV. I love what they do with face clothes! I wonder how many towe's etc. they go through in the course of a year? I am sure more than just me have taken home a ducky, or bunny etc....

there are a couple of building with housekeeping not up to par. when you call and say I am in building so and so and the CM you are talking to say 'not again' when you are calling because the housekeeping wasn't done, or they forgot something (like the towels) - well on the whole I am very happy with housekeeping at OKW.

Also, I see a lot of complaints about burned out light bulbs. I understand the frustration that some folks feel about this, but in fairness...I grew up in California and rarely remember having to replace light bulbs. Now that I live in Texas (which has somewhat similar weather to Florida) I've had 7 bulbs burn out in one day, it is a constant battle. The weather changes so quickly, and the air pressure changes so often the traditional incandescent just can't handle it and florescents, while better, don't last as long as they "should". A quick call to housekeeping should fix the light bulb "problems", but I don't look at it as a "problem" with housekeeping, especially of a heavy storm has come through the area during the last couple of days, and that is the "norm" for Florida.

I'd consider anything that's not in a clean or useable condition upon checkin to be a housekeeping issue. Granted, they are always pretty good about fixing any problems we find after checking in, and that's a good thing. But the ideal situation is to have all of the QA checks done by the HK staff before a guest checks in.

Having said that, even though most trips do reveal some minor issues that we need to have housekeeping/maintenance attend to, I'd have to say I'm more or less satisfied with things in general.

I had no issues at OKW. We had the cutest towel duckys on the table. I didn't think I could take them though.
