I recently found a certificate for Minnie Mehunee Character Breakfast dated 12/19/1986( youngest daughter's) and don't remember if everyone got these when they attended? does anyone know and do you still get them( haven't been to a character meal in yrs)? it is naturally signed by chip/dale, minnie, mickey pluto( who i thought someone said didn't sign so maybe i should sell this on ebaby hehe)

i know that particular meal is defunct but wondering if any give them out still

my other daughter had the kitchen kaberet eggplant stuffed toy somewhere around here to. that has to be pretty old, from our first trip a few yrs before that one.( like around 84-85 maybe???)

A few years ago, when I was helping my parents clean out the attic, I found my little butterfly/ monkey looking thing from Captain EO! I had totally forgotten about it. Also, not really MY oldest souvenir, but while visiting the in-laws, we went to a thrift store and found a Walt Disney World souvenir book from 1986. It is in near perfect condition and only cost us $2! Looking through it brought back so many memories of things that are no longer there...

I have stuffed animals Chip and Dale from my honeymoon at the MK in 1977....Also have frosted tiki glasses from drinks we had at the Polynesian during that same trip..

I have some old A-E coupon books (partially used) and some Magic Key Coupons (good for any ride) from our honeymoon in 1977.

I found a map of MK from DL that I got when I went with my sister and cousin in 1975.

My brother and I have crystal mugs that we got on Main Street with our names etched on them. We got them either in '75 or '78

I have a key chain from "Epcot Center" during its opening year when I visited with my family. I found it when I was cleaning out some boxes of my old stuff. My 5yo DD thinks its so cool that it was a souvenier from when mommy was a kid!!!!

Just wondering, where was this character breakfast at? I have buttons from the Poly's Ohana breakfast. They're not my oldest souvies but they're some of my favorites.

I have beautiful Lady and the Tramp, and 2 Mary Poppins figurines - wish they made some of these, the classic figures, I know I saw some Jessica Rabbit, and Princesses... but not of the quality of mine from the '70s!

I personally have Mickey ears from 1982ish, and a plastic moveable Minnie Mouse. Also when we were little (about 4or 5--so 1978) we had this Disney chair that the back flipped over and became a little desk. We still have it in the family, and now our cousins kids use it. I always wonder what it would be worth today.

I've got some old stuff..

I have a Donald bobblehead from the 70's and I've got Chip and Dale in a rather large size from the early 80's.

My oldest souvie is way younger than yours. It's a Pirates wall hanging skull, circa August 1990. It originally glowed in teh dark, but has long since lost its luster. And they are nowhere to be found at WDW any more.

This is it, with a recently purchased Aztec gold medallion hanging on it.

I have a charm braclet that my parents purchased for me when traveling to WDW in 1975 - it is so adorable - my DD wants it - sorry no can do....

I had one of the goofy hats from the mid 80's. Where the brim of the hat is goofy's mouth, had two teeth hanging in the front, and ears hanging from the hat. I also found a hat from Epcot when it first opened. Sadly, both were beyond repair and had to be thrown out. :sad1:

I have a charm bracelet from when I was a kid, probably around 5. It had M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E spelled out in charms with a little mickey charm in the middle. Mickey fell off years ago (still have him though). I actually want a new one because I love the bracelet so much. I wish they still made them.

Another thing I have is a princess hat. It is a nice peach silk with two long pieces of tulle hanging off the top and three little silver strands. I remember being young and seeing all the little girls with princess hats. I wanted one so bad but my parents couldn't find them. Finally someone was able to tell us where they bought theirs. I still have it. It's a little dirty but definitely something I am going to keep. The current princess hats they sell seem kind of cheesy compared to what I have, otherwise I would get another. (I don't care how old I am.)

Funny thing is, just this past weekend I found my ORIGINAL autograph book from my first trip to WDW, in 1976!!! Apparently I only managed to secure TWO autographs, Mickey Mouse and someone else (now I'm going to have to go check and see who it was, b/c I think it's Pluto.) I also have several postcards from the same trip - mostly County Bear Jamboree for some reason!

I have some plates (or candydishes :confused3 ) that are in the museaum at MGM for the opening day merchandise. I have 3 of them that I got at Goodwill for .99cents each!! :cool1: I also have some salt & pepper shakers with the MK on it, but I'm not sure how old they are. The best thing I have is a picture of my sis & me on Cinderella's carosel in 1973. We were both on the same horse!!

Fun thread! :)

I have a gold Minnie Mouse ring from my first trip in 1983. I also have a small Mickey figure (plastic) that's from one of my early trips, it says "EPCOT Center" on the back and by the way he's dressed I'd guess we bought him in the American Adventure, I wish there was a year printed on him. And one other thing I have is from 1986, it's the actual menu from Biergarten, it's shaped like a big beer stein. I haven't eaten there since that trip so I don't know if the menu's still look like that?!

I have parks maps from my first trip in 1982. I also have a Goofy from that time and a flag from the character breakfast at the Empress Lily (now the crabhouse in DTD), that was from like 1986 or so.
