For me it's a Zippered coin pouch (2) one with Mickey's head and one with Donald's head - purchased from WDW in the mid 70's.

They both still have working 'squeakers' How they survived my brother and I is beyond me ;-)

Hey! I remember those!

My wife has some really old Mickey things from the 30's, and some Snow White things, late 30's. I only collect park stuff so the oldest things in my collections are 1954 for Disneyland and 69-70 for WDW, yeah, before the park opened.

I have Mickey and Minnie tattoos from 1996, but I guess 14 years isn't that long, eh? ha ha

I have one tea bag rest (had 4 but friends broke them) left from the first year WDW opened. My mother brought it home for me on their trip with my brothers.... Don't get me started. I just got my first job and couldn't get the time off so she and my dad took my brothers.
I have a few old toy cars that look to be from the 50's but when i looked them up on ebay they were written up as being from the 80's. I think they are older.

I would have to say it is one of my planters... No pictures here but that is most likely what it is.

I have a 1940 Pinocchio book with a First Issue 78(!) record. (Unfortunately, the book is missing 2 of the three records). And a set of embroidered Mickey Ears from Disneyland ca1965/66. I think they might be the two oldest Disney items I have.

agnes!

Its funny, we were just digging thru old record albums and I found a Cinderella record/book from the early 70's right next to an OLDER Cinderella record from MGM..I laughed.
My friend has a Goofy bendy, and it looks old. Red shirt, ears laying down..he found it in the dirt. Bet its 50's or earlier.
Have a donald hat with the squeakie bill from the 80's..Plate from 82 with the castle on it..
Guess thats it for the old stuff..

My oldest Disney item is a 54 year old LP record I inherited from an aunt years ago. It's the first film soundtrack album ever released by Disney, Disneyland Records album # WDL-4001, the soundtrack for Song of the South.

We had some of our older vinyl including this appraised by a vintage records dealer at a show four years ago. While the value of Song of the South memorabilia is inherently inflated due the "banned" nature of the film, I was shocked when he came back with his estimate. He said that because our copy is a rare "Disneyland yellow label" first pressing and in very good condition, it has a market value of over $500.

Not bad for as something with an original retail price of $4.98. ;)

WDW souvenier book from the 70's
WDW tickets from 1973 or 76
parking stub from aug 1973 when parking was 50 cents

a 1956 guide book that was given to me. just love the "future
attractions" section.

a lp of the original mickey mouse club. it also included a picture

book.{ boy that annette sure was a cutie! big ears & all, :earsgirl:}

and a mickey bowling game made up mickey pins.

and an 33 & 1/3 , 4 songs from the aristocats. :hippie:

I have a Vintage 1958 Disneyland park map, the kind you had to purchase (not the hand outs).
Oooh... :wizard:

I have a 1964 DL map, purchased new. Would like to get a 1958 series A (the one without the Matterhorn) someday.

I inherited a stuffed Minnie from the early 60s, I believe. When my grandmother passed, we threw away countless ticket books (funny, no E-tickets in the lot :confused3)

I have an item that I have very little info on what it even is. I was told by Disney archives that they thought it may be a Gulf Oil VIP gift for the grand opening of THE WALT DISNEY STORY attraction at WDW. It looks like a brown book that says The Walt Disney Story on the front. When u open the book it has a oval glass plaque that says A living legacy To the master storyteller of the world dedicted in the spring of 1973 at Walt Disney World. Then there is a bust shot of Walt in the middle. The writing and bust shot is in gold print. On the back bottom corner it says Smith Pacific Los Angeles. The book looks just like the book they had on display in front of the attraction. The plaque is set in gold velvet. It is from 1973. If anyone happens to know what this is for sure id love to know. Ive been looking for this on google and ebay and have never found one. Looked in many books and found nothin. Thx a million.

I love the bank I bought from the magic shop on Main Street back in
the 70's It had the creepy hand that slowly came out and snatched the
coin. I also like my model of the sub ride. The rest is just some old Disney
toys, they aren't mine. But I've kept photos of some of the more
interesting stuff I've seen by Disney.

They use to sell drinks in plastic orange or grape toys.
I haven't found a photo, but this double orange is what they
looked like

Judging by the worker bee with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and the absence of guests in the picture I imagine this must have been taken while the park (Disneyland) was closed, no? Care to share the story behind that? ;)

I wish I could remember the little poem that was on the door of the Tobacconist shop in your picture.

Good Question ;) I wasn't even sure if it was Disneyland or not :confused3

I was asking around for a picture of the Magic Shop, because it use to be my favorite store (back when Disney stores weren't just all T-shirt shops).

Someone sent me this photo (I'm guessing they were a cast member). I have never been to Disneyland.... I'd really like to find a photo of the magic shop at Disney World if anyone has one :wizard:

I have some Donald Duck comic books from the 70s and a toy Alice in Wonderland tea set from the 80s.
