Hi

I have been to WDW a few times now and I visit the same restaurants - I have seen on the disboards peoples reviews but often I dont know where the the restauant actually is. EG The wave - I've just learnt on another thread its at the contemporary.

So to help newbies and oldies-

Whats your fave rest and where abouts on wdw is it?

Thanks

For a non-signature restaurant - Le Cellier in France at Epcot.
Counter Service - Tangierine Cafe in Morocco at Epcot.

If you go to allears.net and click on Dining at the top they list all the menu's for each park and a section for the resorts restaurants as well. Great place to check everything out all in one place.:)

Table Service:
Toss up~
Coral Reef (later in the evening) EPCOT
Marrakesh (later in the evening) EPCOT
Counter Service:
Flame Tree BBQ Animal Kingdom:hug:

LeCellier is in Canada.

We like Coral Reef and Biergarten in Epcot. We also enjoy Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

Favorite Table Service - LeCellier in Canada at Epcot (we also love Fulton's at Downtown Disney)

Favorite Character Meal -- Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom

Favorite Counter Service -- Cosmic Rays at Magic Kingdom

Favorite Signature -- don't have one -- never done (we may try Jiko's in September thanks to Mickey/Nicki's review.

On our last trip we enjoyed Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge and Jiko in Animal Kingdom Lodge. We hear great things about Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot and Kona at the Polynesian, both on our list for our upcoming Nov trip.

Table Service:
LeCellier-Canada/Epcot
O'hana @ the Palanesian Hotel
Whispering Canyon @ Wilderness Lodge
Sci-Fi for burgers, onion rings & a shake~~~the best! and the atmosphere is the Best

Counter Service
Pizza Planet @ Hollywood Studio
Sunshine Season @ Epcot

We have a new favorite Signature Restaurant. We had eaten at Hollywood Brown Derby (DHS) before, & weren't impressed. We gave it another try last week & it way by far the best meal we had. We'll be returning over Thanksgiving, & we've made an ADR to eat there again.

For non-signature, our favorite is Les Chefs de France (Epcot).

Our number one restaurant is Flying Fish (Boardwalk). The food and service are excellent. The bartenders are great, nice wine list, great cocktails.

My hands down favorite is Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge (if you want to be specific, you need to go downstairs on the right, not straight ahead, and it's across from Boma!!)

For something a little less pricey, I would choose 50s Prime Time (for lunch, not dinner though!) at Hollywood Studios, Tepan Edo in Japan at Epcot, and Spoodles at the Boardwalk. For even less pricey my hands down favorite counter service is Sunshine Seasons inside The Land at Epcot. Also, I love the Corn Dog nuggets at Casey's Corner at the end of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom :)

Our favorite restaurant at the moment is Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian.

But, we haven't tried every restaurant, yet. :)

Off the top of my head, we've tried:
Boma
Tusker House (new, buffet one)
Artist Point
Whispering Canyon
Liberty Tree Tavern
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
Concourse Steakhouse (RIP)
California Grill
'Ohana
Narcoossee's
Grand Floridian Cafe
Yachtsman's Steakhouse
Garden Grill
San Angel Inn
Le Cellier
Rose & Crown
Brown Derby
Mama Melrose
50s Prime Time
Sci Fi Dine-In

Here are a few of ours
TS-
Ohanna's - Polynesian Hotel
Yak and Yetis - Animal Kingdom

Counter Service-
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe - Magic Kingdom
Seasons in the Land at Epcot
Earl of Sandwich - Downtown Disney

Our favorites:
California Grill (Contemporary), especially the filet
Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
Brown Derby (Hollywood Studios), especially the cobb salad
Spoodles (Boardwalk), anything served with polenta

Thanks so very much - having people state where the restaurant is is so helpful - I can't wait to try some of your recommendations next summer 2009:thumbsup2
