I was planning on heading to Casey's Corner for a hotdog and fries as a quick lunch but reviews haven't exactly been glowing!

So DLP fans ... what's YOUR favourite place to grab a bite for lunch and what would YOU have there?

I plan on eating at EOS and Annette's mainly! Don't really feel the food in the parks is that good, although it's been a few years since I've visited.

Lunch choices

Fuente del Oro for the fajitas even though I'm annoyed that they have replaced the "Mexican" frites by rice

Toad Hall - great value and tasty fish and chips

Colonel Hathi's - Pasta and garlic bread or salad and pizza and garlic bread. We often share a menu as they are generous

EoS - I prefer the wraps to the bread sandwiches and they do great bread pudding or chocolat pudding :thumbsup2

Colonel Hathi's for me too. We mainly referred to a late breakfast and an early dinner though. Late breakfast mostly at EoS then.

Would have loved to try Fuente del Oro finally, maybe it's open when we go back in July.

Oooh that bread pudding looked amazing in the photo's you kindly took for us on the EOS thread.:thumbsup2 Might have to try the chocolate pudding too!:goodvibes Can see us eating there most nights as a lot of the CS seem to shut bout 4/5 pm.

I can vouch for the chocolate pudding, it's really very good. I prefered that fruit parfait though.

Mouth now watering!:goodvibes lol!

I know DH is desperate to do Hakuna Matata; so will see if I can talk him into eating EOS for tea on the other days - they do so many yummy's I want to try out all the different things on the menu!:rotfl::rotfl:

Boyfriend and I walked out with two large "to go" bags Tuesday evening.

Just to think I almost had to drag him in there Thursday.... :rolleyes1

Oooh had lunch and I'm hungry again :rotfl: That chocolate pudding sounds yum but am also a sucker for bread pudding. Whereabouts in the park is EoS? Is it called a different name i.e. Market House Deli as I can't seem to see it on a map :worried:

As much as I love fish and chips, seems to bit odd having fish & chips in France -- it should be baguettes and cheese mmmmmmm (and garlic!) :lmao:

Fuente del Oro -- what?! No frites?! That's just shameful - yuck to rice

Has anyone noshed in Buzz's Pizza Planet (the pizza buffet eat all you can place)?

EoS is 'Earl of Sandwich' and is located in The Village. :)

yep, I think my favourites in the main parks are covered (theres really not much at all in the Studios). I also like the Last Chance cafe, the food is hot, we like the choices, and its usually not busy. This time I've got Lucky Nugget pencilled in for a lunch, same kind of food as Last Chance Cafe and its a set price including a soft drink. Colonel Hathis and Bella Notte are similar in their food choices, I like both of them (Colonel Hathis is usually much quieter though and has a fabulous tree growing through the middle of the restaurant :goodvibes).

I can't remember the name of the cafe now but it's located next door to Auberge de Cendrillon, it's in a small court yard with Cinderella's coach. It's normaly closed in the winter.

Whats it called - please some one help - it's driving me mad!:rotfl2:

Thank you :thumbsup2 I've Annette's Diner pencilled in for eating in the Village so may have to give EoS a miss (but I might head that way in the evening for a taste of bread and butter pudding mmmm)

Looking forward to trying EOS and a few new ones this trip! With all this food I want to try I think i'm going to be coming back a lot heavier than when I first went! :worried:

I'm already on the diet path just so I can put it all on again in October :rotfl2:

Me too - I'm working extra hard at the diet this week so I can pile it on again in June! I've even binned the pizza leaflet that came thru our door today and that took some doing! lol!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Way to go!:goodvibes Now there's an idea for the Eurostar on the way home - as the sandwiches on board the Eurostar are always expensive and not all that!:confused3 Do EOS take cards as I have a feeling that by the end of the trip we won't have any Euros!:rotfl2:

 love it! well i stayed the same in class tonight but am going full steam ahead this week to keep shedding those pounds :) mind you am glad i didn't stay to class tonight though as DH said if i had of done he was gonna order dominos pizza for when i got home :scared1: the tempation would of just been too strong

EOS is by far our favourite. Just wish it was in the park and not the village.

We just got back today and I've lost 2lb since we went :rotfl2: Must be all that walking, because I certainly ate well :lmao:

It was Dominoes pizza leaflet that came thru our door - I reckon they're on a campaign to sabotage our diet efforts as Dominoes is my favourite! :rotfl2:

I've just been to Farm Foods today to buy loads of frozen fruit and veg to try and get my weight loss moving in the right direction!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
