What's your favourite Christmas Carol?

As for my favorite Christmas Carol that would be "O Holy Night".

but i also like the modern ones- "santa clause is coming to town"!

Oops! Looks as though I managed to post the thread ahead of the poll - not quite sure what happened there!

My favourite is 'In the Bleak Mid Winter', but there weren't enough options to post all the more popular ones, let alone that.

Wendy and Frederick were DIS members back before the big UK boards crash (we used to have a separate website, but after the crash, we were brought into the fold of the US forums). They were a couple who posted under the shared username, although Wendy was the more prolific poster. She loved her polls, often posting several a day.

At the Pop Century they had this really rocking version of Hark the Herold Angels Sing which I really liked! I don't know who sings it though, and I asked some of the CM's but nobody had a clue either. I asked if the music was on a CD that I could buy, and the CM said that no, they download it from the internet. I doubt that though !

O' Little Town of Bethlehem is my favourite, I used to love singing it at the carol service when I was in the choir in primary school.

I like all carols, but my favourite for the last few years though has been:

"It Was On A Starry Night" by Joy Webb.

I first heard it about 4 years ago at my eldest's Christingle and now he's moved on to Comprehensive my youngest has just had his first Christingle, it's the only time I've ever heard it sung though.

I only discovered the Christingle then as well and now it's one of the highlights of our Christmas celebrations.
