What's your favorite time of year to go?

DH and I love January, right after New Year's. The weather can be a bit unpredicatable at times (one year it was FREEZING the whole trip), but is usually quite nice.

I love the first week of December. :flower:

However as the kids get older it gets much more difficult to pull them out of school at that busy time of year. :guilty:

We've done early May - loved it! Flower & Garden festival is great!
We've done late May - hot, hot, hot!
We've done October - loved it! MNSSHP is a lot of fun!
We've also done early December- loved it! MVMCP, Candlelight Processional, Osborne lights, tons of decorations!

I definately think early December is my favorite, but we do like to mix it up. This year we are going in late June. We know to expect heat, crowds, etc. but DH is coming down for a conference so it is what works for us.

We went in May last year and it is our neew favorite time of year to visit!!! Hoping to go in May 2006!!!!

I like May and October. It's typically not as crowded, not as hot, and in May there's the Flower Show and October is the Food & Wine Fest! What more could I ask for?? :teeth:

My sentiments exactly!

I like May, too. We went in December and the decorations were amazing but it was soo cold!

Our most recent trips have been in the late winter (early/mid-Feb/early Mar) and we really enjoyed those times. We had great weather, and the crowds weren't bad! We're going in mid-May and I'm sure it's going to be warmer and more crowded (but that's ok. :teeth: ). We're also trying out early December for the first time this year, we may end up liking that the best if crowds are really as low as people say they are! :wizard:

Today! Truly, any time is great at Disney. There is something positive to be said about every season.

I loved the first week of December as well. The only down-side of that is taking the kids out of school, which I agree, is harder to do when the kids get older.

We were there 2 weeks ago for our spring break. It was a lot more crowded than December. My kids only missed 2 days.
