What's your favorite thing to buy in Disneyland?

Hold the phone! They have glowtinis at DLR?

I'm veggie, but I think I might have to run into that restaurant and snag a glowtini on this trip so I can take it off my things to do list for WDW. :)

I'm thinking the same thing (except I'm not a veggie) and luckily they have a bar area, so probably no reservations are needed to get one. Does anyone know the price and possibly have a picture? Also does anyone know what time Steakhouse 55 closes?

Let's start with the most important......food:

chicken nachos at Whitewater Snacks
The chocolate chip cookie sundae at Gibson
Corndog at Corndog castle

souvenirs:

We have two of the collage framed pictures from the Kodak store on Main Street. They are both matted with different character scenes on them.

We buy those cute little character packs of rubber Disney characters and ride attractions and use them for our board games at home.

We pin trade the time we are there and then buy our favorites on the very last day that we did not get by trading

Always check out the Potato head parts to see if there is anything we don't have yet.

How unfortunate, mine have always been nice and fresh and really soft.

Where do you buy yours from, because I've also has a few that were hard and stale? Yuck. Home made is much better. Maybe I'm buying from the wrong place?

Never mind I saw your other response...I got mine from the bakery at DCA (on the right as you enter) as it was still hard. :(

I was wondering what everyones favortite souvenier to buy is, fav snack, restaraunt, basically what's your fav thing to purchase in Disney.

Favorite souvie used to be the water globes but with the travel restrictions, I stopped buying them. I saw a couple getting theirs confiscated at the airport and never bought one again. I wouldn't risk putting it in my luggage.
Our new favorite souvie is T-shirts and jackets/hoodies. Anything Pirates and embellished with lots of gaudy rhinestones!:lmao: Love it! I also like some of the Disney picture frames although I haven't bought any in a few years.
Love the Churros, chocolate chip cookies, the Ice cream sundae at the Gibson Girl. Love love love the chocolate and strawberry funnel cake! OMG! WE LOVE  the fudge at the candy store both white and regular chocolate. I totally blew my diet on that in January! Even my DH who isn't that much into sweets loved the fudge. It's very rich and sweet. A little goes a long way...until you get the sugar rush and want tohave some more!:lmao:
We used to like the Clam chowder, but it's not as good as it used to be. We bought some from the French Market cafe ??? and it was way more bread bowl than chowder. And the Clam chowder at Mimi's blows the one in the parks out of the water. So, we get it if we are eating in the park and don't have other alternatives.
I like eating at Riverbelle terrace outdoors for ambience, at Blue Bayou for ambience (but not the Monte Cristo) and at the walk up place next to Golden Horshoe. (What is the name of this place?) Their chicken strips are huge -- 2 adults can share it with leftovers. We take the food and go in to watch Billy Hill. I always wanted to try Carnation cafe and had 2 PS last Jan but both got rained out.:sad2:

OT: Did I read correctly somewhere on this board that Carnation Cafe is closing down or has closed down? If so I'll be really

Well maybe I'll have to try again in the afternoon, at the candy store in CA! LOL I've always been bummed because I love rice krispy treats. :) I'll try again, maybe not this trip but by next trip. :)

And ummmm, don't shoot me but what's a glowtini? I have my faves that I get when I'm imbibing and I've never heard of a glowtini.

I'm not sure on the price or exactly where they have this. I started a thread about it because I am on the search for it...

But back to the topic..

My favorite thing to buy is the Cherry Coke from the Refreshment Corner, because Disney's Cherry Coke is WAY better than normal Cherry Coke..

Also, Tigger Tails, Corn Dogs from Corn Dog Castle in DCA... And I always pick up something Beauty and the Beast for my collection..
