I'm not looking for a restaurant....

We have a PS at Hollywood and Vine at 4:10Pm so we'll just pack sandwiches for a lunch snack. I'm trying to think of a nice spot to stop and eat.

There will be 10 of us. Any advice?

I was going to suggest Starring Roles bakery, but there are just a few tables there...you may be able to find seats for 10 tho.....

My kids love a milkshake at the 50's Prime time cafe. You can go in the "bar" area and order them. You can still get the abiance (SP?) of it just in the bar. It's such a cool place!!!

How about the Studio Catering Co. It is down near the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" set. They sell hamburgers and such, but as I recall, there are tables in the shade and you can probably sit down and eat your sandwiches there. If the kids finish first, they can play on the HISTK set.

I forgot all about this place. You are right, it is very shaded, and last time I was there there was plenty of space to eat.

JFis, the milkshake idea is great... I think we'll try that out too!

And the suggestion abut Starring Rolls bakery reminded me they have a take out cobb salad, I think.... I could get one or two of those to supplement our sandwiches.

Thanks all!

We had our PB&J sandwiches one day at the Studio Catering Company. There are lots of tables there, and it worked out very well. I've also noticed parents sitting by the play area fence and peeking out their kids playing on the other side. My kids are a little too young for that, but it may work for you.

We like the place right next to Star Tours (the name escapes me). They have covered tables outside and lots of tables inside. We like to sit inside at the tall tables next to the windows to watch the parade. You have a perfect view of the parade which starts right between this place and Star Tours. You are inside in the air conditioning and you get to sit. Because the tables are tall, you look right over the top of all the people standing on the street.

Definitely those Candy apples and fudge by the Villians room. We always stop there before heading over to fantastmic!!

We go to pizza planet. The pizza is just okay. You can't buy it expecting it to be like pizza from home. But it has alot of seating and is air conditioned. There is also video/arcade games for the kids.

Another vote for Toy Story Pizza Planet. My boys had a ball there on our last trip. And it must have been a good day for them, because we enjoyed the pizza we got there better than any pizza on our trip. And the salads were really good also. Looking forward to going back in January.

I like Starring Roles Bakery, they have really good chocolate-chip cookies there!

I just got back a month ago and the entire area around the Studio Catering Company was closed for refurbishment. You couldn't get any food there... don't remember if you could still sit at the tables. I was disappointed because we went over there specifically to get something small to eat.

I think the place is aunt pollys. It is over at Tom S Island. It is covered there is not alot of traffic and it is in a peaceful place. They sell chips soda subs.
