I've got a new poll up and it's (surprise) all about characters. :earsboy: The question is "where is your favorite place to meet the WDW Characters?" Do you like a particular location because you always see a favorite character there, or because it looks great in photos, or because it has a good variety of different characters? If you do, feel free to vote in this poll and also tell us why you like it in this thread.

My favorite is Main Street, U.S.A. because therI always see a nice assortment of classic characters in Town Square when I get there in the morning and it's sometimes a nice spot to meet a princess or two.

I voted for UK in Epcot because it is indoors, there are often three or four characters (winnie the Pooh), and there is often no one else there (or just a few) so the characters have time to 'play' and interact with your child. The same was true this past trip in many of the Epcot locations. Mooroco and China stand out in my memory as having the same conditions as the UK.

I voted for Tomorrowland in the MK because that's the only spot where you can get a picture with just Buzz, and no other Toy Story characters around at all!!! That's just soooooooooooooo great!!!! In fact, that was wher I got a totally memorable picture with Buzz on my past trip to the MK in March!!!! Posing with him and getting a KISS from him afterwards!!!! WOW!!! Perfect!!! :cloud9:

I liked the characters on holiday bus -- probably my favorite b/c if you hit it just right, you can visit with lots of characters with little crowds... you never know who will be there though.... recently, my most favorite character is Peter Pan. He has moved into the top 5 must see characters for me (along with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald)

I voted for the Big Hat at Disney-MGM Studios, as the rotation with more "face" charaters is my favorite. You can find some of the more unusual male characters there that are hard to find elsewhere. :) :)

My second favorite would be the Toontown Tear Drop, as there can be 12 characters out at once with small lines!

Town Square at Magic Kingdom in the mornings is also high on my list.

This poll is making me miss Disney World!!! I want to go back soon! :teeth:

Where do you go indoors at UK to see the characters? Do they also have characters indoors at China and Morroco? Do they publish in the guides what time these characters will be there?

Also where is the Toontown "Tear Drop"?

The UK Character Location is in the back of the Toy Soldier gift shop (the fartherst one back from the promenade). I don't believe there are any indoors in China (Mulan is sometimes in that pavillion, but she's usually outside), but in Morocco there is an indoor character area right across from Restaurant Merakesh in the back of the pavillion. The UK and Morocco locations have times listed in the Times Guide in the park map and all the locations are listed at this site

The Toontown Teardrop is at Mickey's Toontown Fair and is a small teardrop-shapped area between the Judge's Tent and the Railroad tracks. You can sometimes find a nice assortment of random characters here at different times throughout the day.

I voted for Mickey's ToonTown Fair preferably The Toon Town Hall of Fame. I love the three different rooms that I can go into to meet my favorite characters. The 100 Acre Crew is my favorite and I know that whenever I want to see Tigger, that's where I can find him. :Pinkbounc

Down to Page 4 already? lol Thanks for voting to everyone who has so far. I would love to hear more people's oppinions. Based on the current results it looks like Main Street is winning and the Sorcerer's Hat Courtyard not far behind.

I voted for the bus @ EPCOT. On our numerous trips to WDW, we've had the most spontaneous fun with characters at EPCOT and the bus has been our best way to meet the most characters in a short time. After that, we usually get lucky and run into characters @ China, American Adventure, Canada, UK & Morroco.
We always have the autograph book & camera ready. I take pictures of my DD getting the character's autograph and later put those pictures in the book too!

Quick question: where has Peter Pan been spotted? That'll be a new one for Tori in a few weeks! Thanks! ;)

I voted for the EPCOT bus as well. That was so much fun...seeing SO many characters in such a short time! It was great.::yes::

He's out in front of Pirates of the Caribbean a lot. That's where he was last time I saw him. He might also be in Town Square as well. Sometimes he hangs out in front of the Expo Hall as well. Here's a thread that may be able to help you out more:

I vote for Mickey's ToonTownFair, especially close to park closing. The lies often are very short, and the kids love being able to go from room to rrom.

Thanks for the info! It'll be fun to meet him. We'll be at MK July 12th. We always stop at the Disney Info center in Ocala on the drive down and buy the autograph book and pen. Also helps build the excitement of "going to Disney!!" :Pinkbounc
