Just wondering what everyone's NEW favorite meals are? If you're on Atkins what's your favorite lo-carb meal? If it's WW what's your favorite lo-points meal?

Mine has become Baby Arugala salad blend with fresh mozzarella and 2 Tablespoons of Ken's lite Northern Italian Dressing---5 points!!!! Yum!

Well it's not a meal - but we're on WW and have found that we can make "freedom fries" for only 3 points - and it's a TON of fries.

Cut a baking potato into fries (we leave the skins on)

Spray a cookie sheet w/Pam (olive oil seems to be the best for these)

spray the fries

bake 'til they're starting to brown!!

We like them better than fries from a fast food place. We have 'em a LOT!! laugh -they're quick too..

I adore a COBB Salad!

Bacon, Blue Cheese, boiled eggs, with fresh greens and full fat blue cheese dressing. YYummmy!

Deep fried buffalo wings... throw some wings in the deep fat fryer...fry till golden and crispy.. take them out and throw them in some melted butter and hot sauce... serve with full fat blue cheese dressing.....
9 trillion grams of fat :)

WoW!!! That sounds way better than arugala/mozzarella salad!!!!

If I get to out for dinner, my favorite meal is at Outback. I order a steak with a skewer of shrimp. I ask to have drawn butter substituted for the remoulade sauce they usually serve with the shrimp.

Hold the croutons on the salad and don't bring the bread are the other requests I make.

I order the grilled veggies instead of the potato and dunk them in the drawn butter :)

I love Outback. They have my favorite Atkins friendly meal :) I never feel one bit deprived, either. There is something about dunking the shrimp and vegetables in that drawn butter that makes me feel like I'm cheating and that's sort of fun :teeth:

At home I like to make an antipasta salad using spring greens, salami, italian ham, provolone cheese, a few black olives and Italian dressing with aged Romano cheese in it. I sprinkle shredded parmesan on top and yum, yum, yum :)

My favorite food is Shrimp, so anything that has shrimp in it, is my favorite meal!! :p:p

I really can't wait to go to Red Lobster while in Florida, it is the only time I ever go and I really want some Lobster and Shrimp with butter!! Oh yum!! :):)

I have to admit...Alex's buffalo wings are yummy and I can eat them forever ..... Also shrimp scampi made with some broccilli and cauliflower throw in...

Filet Mignon Rare with a New England Lobster Tail and Claws, drawn butter, and a little romaine lettuce with parmesean cheese, black olives and vinegrette. Or a lobster roll with out the bread. Or shrimp, grilled outside with butter.

I could eat just about anything on Atkins, but I have to keep the carbs very low or I don't lose. My problem could be hormonal, I refuse to take them anymore, but while I was on them, I couldn't lose much. I can't count the BF, I never get that, so I just lnow it's the carbs totally.

Gee, all this food talk is making me hungry. Off to my lunch of Chicken and cheese. And diet Vanilla coke, that doesn't slow me down, if I keep it to one a day.

Glo - I copied your challenge clip art, the other one was too big to add to my siggy, hope you don't mind?

Pierogies with sauteed zucchini and onions....yum, yum! Since Pierogies only have one point a piece the number of WW points you use are up to you.

Hot wings and jalapeno poppers... goes great with Angel on Weds. nights! ;)

ROFL--Ummmm Beanie, did you notice that your tag says you are from New Hampshire? That's right next to Maine where they GET the lobster. You don't have to go to Red Lobster and believe me, as much as I love Red Lobster Restaurants, (and please stop in, you'll be helping my stock out) the fresh Lobster in New England is MUCH YUMMIER!!!!;) :)

p.s. my condolences on the Old Man of the Mountain. I have lots of pictures of him and was very sorry to hear he's gone.:(

LOL!! i always sit down with a snack to watch Angel, and i lean against my "husband" pillow on my bed. by the end of the show, not only have i not eaten ANYTHING, i've moved to the foot of the bed, with my face practically pressed against the tv! it always amazes me how i move without realizing it! sorry, i know i'm off topic but i had to share!

ok - is it the Mrs. T's Pierogies that are only 1 point?!?

If so - that could be a great meal in this house.....

(Actually I prefer homemade - but have never attempted them... and probably wouldn't be like my "Buscia's"!!)

I am really into onion, summer squash, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots sauteed in pan with a spray of garlic Pam. When done and ready to serve I add a couple of Tblsp. of Ken's lite dressing italian or Caesar's. Always tastes really yummy to me!!

So far my favorite meal has been Veggie Italian sausages cooked on the grill with zucchini and yellow squash cooked on the grill, topped with marinara sauce (with sauteed baby bella mushrooms) and a sprinkle of parms cheese. It's WONDERFUL!!!
