Trying to pick out which ones we want to eat at for our trip in March. We're open to all kinds of food (except the turkey legs-DBF and I finally got one when we were there in August and, sorry folks, it was DISGUSTING-I know some ppl love these things, but I thought it tasted like ham-which made me feel like I was eating a pig hoof!:scared:).

My faves are Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Rays, Sunshine Seasons, Tangierine Cafe, Flame Tree BBQ, and Pizzafari (still can't seem to find one we really enjoy at MGM, oops! I mean "Disney Hollywood Studios")

Just post what your favorite is and what you like to order there.:thumbsup2

We love:

Columbia Harbour House - sitting upstairs and watching the people walk by with the Magic Kingdom sunlight shining through the windows. Then taking a bite of a cool, always good and filling sandwich...... yeah its great!

Cosmic Rays - the kitchy "show" and the toppings bar makes it a nice retreat!

Kringla Bakeri og Cafe - something about sitting outside eating pastries with a salmon, egg, and buttah sandwich is just blissful.

Yakitori House - DBf and I are pathetic japanese culture freaks-- we have some inside jokes that were started in Yakitori House... so its dear to our hearts and memories (aww...)

Thats about it! Animal Kingdom got rid of Tusker House's counter service and we never really have a "gotta love it" place at the Studios (although Backlot Express is pretty palatable).

Sorry! Double post! What is going on with the DisBoards these days?!?! Left and right been having problems with the servers connecting me!

We enjoy many of the same places like Cosmic Rays, Tusker House, and Sunshine Seasons! :goodvibes We too have a very hard time finding a place to eat at Disney Studios.
Hey Disney you really need to work on that! :lmao:

One that is different is Pepper Market at the Coronado Resort. On the meal plan this is a nice CS credit.

We love Cosmic Rays we make it a tradition that its the first place we eat on our first night at Magic kingdom! Sunshine Seasons is a great place too.

MK - Pirata y Perico

Epcot - The Electric Umbrella

MGM - Don't really have one, they need better CS places there IMHO

AK - Pizzafari - best overall CS place in WDW for me.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

For Disney Studios we like Backlot Express, just your basic hamburgers and hot dogs but it's always been pretty quite when we've been there.

I have had awful food every time we ate at the commissary so I would NOT recommend that one!

For EPCOT we like Cantina de San Angel in and Kringla Bakeri.

MK - Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bills

AK - Flame Tree BBQ, I love the grilled chicken salad.

Columbia Harbor House without a doubt.

Another vote for Columbia Harbour House and Sunshine Seasons!
Sunshine Seasons is my favorite for Counter Service!

MK--Columbia Harbour House

Epcot--Tangierine and Sunshine Seasons. I like the Tangierine the better because SS can be mobbed, plus your family may have to wait in more than one line to get your food there. But, SS has good food and goes beyond burgers and chicken fingers.

DHS (MGM)--No favorite here

AK--I used to LOVE Tusker House, but that's gone. : (

Downtown Disney--Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich are both great!

Our very favorite CS is Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD. We've probably eaten there about 30 times over the years and have always had hot, fresh and very tasty food. I'm so glad they are expanding the inside eatting area!!! :goodvibes

Our favorite counter services are:

MK - Pecos Bill's & Cosmic Ray's

AK- Flame Tree Bar-b-que

Epcot - We have eaten at Electric Umbrella and it's okay. But we prefer Lotus Blossom Cafe in China, Sommerfest in Germany and the Liberty Inn at the American Pavilion. Oh and dh likes the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico.

DHS - I would have to say my kids love Toy Story Pizza Planet, though in September we ate at the Back Lot Express and it was okay.

my favorite is Casey's Corner at MK. It's very basic fare, hotdogs, fries and cracker jack, but it's my favorite way to start a trip to MK. Get a hotdog, listen to the piano player and enjoy the view.

We haven't tried that many, but for those that we have and enjoyed:

MK: Pecos Bills. Sleepy Hollow has great funnel cake. (I know that's not a meal, but it was a good breakfast.)

Epcot: Yakitori House, Tangierene Cafe, the caf in The Land in Future World, Boulangerrie Patisserie

MGM/Hollywood: Nothing

DTD: Earl of Sandwich hands down. Also Wolf Gang Puck Café.

AK: Used to be Tusker House. Not sure about now.

but it's my favorite way to start a trip to MK. Get a hotdog, listen to the piano player and enjoy the view.

and now you don't have to worry about your health with the new environmentally friendly, trans-fat free smaller portion wiener, and the all new trans-fat free crunchy wheat bun!

MK - Pecos Bill and Cosmic Rays, and Mrs. Potts for a strawberry shortcake sundae <yum>

Epcot - Sunshine seasons, and Boulangerie Patisserie for a chocolate eclair

DS - Pizza Planet, Dinosaur Gertie's for soft serve ice cream

AK - Flame Tree!

:thumbsup2
