We are trying the quick dining plan for the first time. I'm trying to get some ideas for where to eat. We leave one week from today & I am clueless where to start =( So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

MK
Cosmic Ray's - the chicken-and-ribs combo plate should help your DH feel full.
Golden Oak Outpost - they have really good chicken sandwiches

Epcot
Sunshine Seasons - large varied menu, plated food as well as sandwiches/salads
Yorkshire Co Fish Shop - fish and chips. That's it, but they are good.

DHS
We prefer Backlot Express, in this park it's sort of a best-of-the-worst deal

AK
Flame Tree BBQ is a favorite of many folks, but personally I prefer Pizzafari's italian sandwiches. I am finicky about my barbecue. :snooty:

DTD
Earl of Sandwich - I eat these for lunch at least once a week here at home (we have a location nearby)
Wolfgang Puck's Express - more substantial things like pasta and such

Captain Cook's at the Poly does Tonga Toast for CS breakfast.

Favorite: Tangierine Cafe at Epcot's WS

Runners Up: Columbia Harbor House at MK, Flame Tree at AK, Earl of Sandwich at DTD, Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD

MK: Columbia Harbour House

Pop Century Food Court--they have fairly diverse options and the food is pretty good. Not TS or home-cooking quality, but not bad for QS! They also accommodated my requests--which usually were to eliminate an item/sauce, rather than to add something.

I'm a very picky eater and like very plain food, so I tend to find locations that support said finicky preferences.

MK- Columbia Harbour House
AK-Flame Tree BBQ
DHS-Starring Rolls
EPCOT-Tangierine Cafe, Boulangerie Patisserie

MK - we liked Pinocchios Village Haus in Fantasyland and Pecos Bills in Frontierland the best.

Pinocchios and Pecos Bills had the best choices and were both much more relaxing to sit in than Cosmic Rays. Pinocchios had great salads to choose from and mac and cheese for my DD. Pecos Bills has the awesome toppings bar and other decent choices.

There really isn't any good choices at Disney Studios (MGM) or at AK.

Our favorite counter service meal was the steak dinner at CSR's Pepper Market.:thumbsup2 A true rib eye steak with a baked potato, mashed potatoes or french fries and grilled veggies all for one counter service credit!

MK-Casey's (but we like hot dogs)
Epcot-Sunshine Seasons (hands down)
DHS-If you have park hoppers, head back to Epcot for Sunshine Seasons (the CS at the Studios isn't all that great) but Backlot Express is the best of the worst for us.
AK-We used to love Flame Tree BBQ, however, it has gone downhill in recent memory. The new picnic in the park lunch was fabulous and we will certainly do it again. If you're on the DDP, it's one CS credit per person.

MK- CHH, Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills, Golden Outpost all good choices depends what your in the mood for.
Epcot-Yorkshire County Fish Shop, Sunshine Seasons(something for everyone)
AK-Flame Tree bbq, Yak+Yeti cs(good chinese food, big portions)
DS- Starring Rolls, Pizza Planet(ok Pizza, more for fun than food)
DTD- Cooks Of Dublin, WPE(so good, great quality and quanity of food for cs)

Flame Tree BBQ, Tangierine, Sunshine Seasons, Pinnochio Village Haus

LOVE Earl of Sandwich!!!!!! The only problem is choosing which 'wich! We usually get a few and split them. :goodvibes

Epcot- we're 3 for 3 at electric umbrella
MK- Golden Oak Outpost- Chicken BLT flatbread and fried chicken sandwich:thumbsup2
AK- Pizzafari-kids loved pizza, we loved Italian sandwich; FTB bland::confused3
POP- food court; especially the meatball/salad combo:love:
DTD- Earl of Sandwich is awesome:dance3::banana::dance3::banana:

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Grand Floridian: Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

AK : Flame tree bbq or picnic in the park
DHS: Backlot Express or Rosie's All American Cafe
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, Boulangerie Patisserie, Yorkshire County Fish Shop
MK: Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic rays
DTD: WPE ( my favorite :) )

Wolfgang Puck Express is the hands-down best in our opinion. Hubby and I ended up eating there 3 times in February- breakfast, lunch, and dinner!:thumbsup2

Starring Rolls at HS and the Boardwalk Bakery at the Boardwalk Resort (LOVE their dessert selections for your CS meal).

MK- Columbia Harbour House. It's great food and if you sit down inside to eat it just seems more relaxing. 2nd would be Cosmic Ray's.

Epcot - In Future World, Sunshine Seasons.

Ak - Flame Tree BBQ

DHS - I have nothing. sorry.

DTD - Earl of Sandwich. 2nd Wolfgang Puck Express

Columbia Harbour House in MK

Flametree BBQ AK

Lotus Blossom Epcot

Not sure for HS

MK- Cosmic Rays

Epcot- Sunshine Seasons, they have a lot of variety and some great desserts

AK- We don't have a favorite here, it used to be Flame Tree BBQ but we don't go to that park often so we haven't ate there in a while

HS- Probably Backlot Express though I did get a tasty Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich at ABC Commissary :scared1:

DTD- Wolfgang Puck Express, my favorite CS period

Resorts- POP is my favorite resort food court.

I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE FOR DHS!!
Just on the way to Tower of Terror on the left almost right on the street is a place called Fairfax Fare. They have Ribs and Chicken as counter service and the portions are huge! My family loved it, but I am interested in trying Starring Rolls in January as well.

MK: Columbia Harbor House and Pecos. The toppings bar at Pecos is yummy!
AK: Uh, not a lot to choose from. Yak and Yeti I suppose
EP: Oh gosh, they are everywhere! Pick a favorite food.
