Major Announcement Secret is Out!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I did some guess work and have come up with the actual news and the link to the Disney Site about it. Make Your Dreams Come True is the new theme for the parks replacing the 50th anniversary. They will be supporting the event with a contest that includes a prize of spending the night in the castle. I am including the link but two warnings: you will need a computer capable of handling flash8 and also the contest has not yet begun so trying to enter is a waste. Here is the link - notice it is an official Disney site - -enjoy!

Based on calgarygary's original post (and great detective work). I was wondering...

What is YOUR Disney Dream?

Mine would be a personal escort around the Magic Kingdom with Mickey Mouse.

Not really sure...I would have to think about it....But off the top of my head I would love to see all the secrets ....You know how the "magic" happens....The tunnels and secret doors and stuff....I would love that!!! ;)

Having my family alone in the park(s) and/or spending the night in the castle would work for me! :thumbsup2

I would love to be at WDW on my 40th birthday in early November of next year. Right now, I am so uncertain about our ability to make this happen, but I really would love to be blessed enough to be at MK that day. I already have the day's itinerary planned out. Sleep in and breakfast at Kona, a day at MK with a couple of rides on BTMRR, a trip or two through the Laughing Place, a trip through SpMnt, a seat in the middle of the middle row at Philharmagic, Lunch at Pecos Bill's, a trip through HM, PoC, and IaSW, a few more things to enjoy along the way, dinner at The Plaza, and finally Wishes! :cloud9: I would give up all the special perks that they are offering, just to know that I could be there for the big day. Maggie

Hundreds of thousands get to live my dream - living close enough to WDW and being able to visit any day or evening that I want.

My dream would be to be able to plan a trip at least once a year for a week. This would be for a party of at least 4 with all expenses paid. Air, deluxe hotel, park passes, and food. Wouldn't this be great.

Mine is for me and my hubby to renew our vows in Disney in front of cinderellas castle, all paid for, with all our family and a couple close friends, the wedding cake with the castle on top and the silver mickeys all around the cake, the reception inside the castle, wishes going off at the end of our reception, the horse drawn carriage, etc. Bascially the ultimate disney wedding. We wanna renew our vows there but prob will never happen unless we win the lottery. :sad2:

Mines very simple

Dd riding in the Parade with Tink.

Oh and Life time Fastpass

Auggghh!

I'll share that dream with you. I know of a real estate opportunity in St Cloud. :rotfl:

(Calgarygary's DW BTW  )

At this point, 44 days from our first family trip to WDW, my dream is simply to get through a day of touring without my children going batty and off the deep end in all that heat, all those lines, etc, etc, etc

Yes, I'm serious. When I envision our visit this is the thing I am most worried about :thumbsup2

I would like simply for my DD7 to eat with a princess and DH with Mickey without having to make dozens of phone calls at hours at which noone should be awake and DD12 not to have a mood swing every 1/2 hour!

oh yeah, and an AP for life would also be great!!

My dream..hmm...to either have all the parks to only me and my family, or not to have to wait in lines.

That's so cool, spending a night in the castle. I guess they're building a hotel room in there? I'd love to do that too!

My Dream would be an all expenses paid trip, meals, park passes, etc. for mine and huibby's 25th anniversary in Sept. 2008. ;) At one of the Grand Floridian suites. Of course my kids would be included in that dream too. That would be awesome!

Mine would be to be able to reunite my family (DH,DD,DS), my Dad, Mom and my sister along with her two sons that are stationed far from home serving in the United States Air Force. My DH just retired after 20 years...its been a long time since we have all been together and wouldn't WDW be the perfect place for me to meet my new niece (they live in the Azores).

My dream would be to of course to have a trip paid for. I wouldn't care deluxe I would be happy just to have are value trip paid for.

Gillian dream is to ride in the parade with Mickey.

Logan would like to meet Darth Vader.

But my biggest dream is just for everyone to have fun.

My dream.... To actually have money in my wallet at the end of our trips! :teeth:

How about an AP for life for the family?

This is exactly what I was thinking, then when I scrolled down to hit "quote" I saw the next person wrote a free DVC membership so I'd have to add that too!

Wow, that would be so cool! Talk about a dream come true.
