What's your Disney Trip Budget?

Flights from Calgary - $425 each x 2 = $850
Timeshare - 3 bed condo with full kitchen $269 for week
Car Rental $153 for mid size car
Sheraton Suites hotel for one night - $58
Disney tickets - AP for me, 7 day child pass for free using Air Miles

I am splitting costs with another single mom so I expect the total trip to cost around $1,500.

Single mom and daughter joining us got their Disney tickets free using Air Miles.

I found Disney to be the best vacation as a single mom as it is affordable and fun.

I'm not a single mom but I do occasionally travel with my DD without DH. WDW is the only place I feel totally comfortable and safe as the only adult. Plus, it is pretty cheap. I also will get my tickets free from Airmiles. Then you throw in at least the CAA discount on the room and a cheap flight from BUF...presto cheap mini vacation.

The last time DD and I went together the total cost was around $1000 for a 6 night trip. That even included my airport parking and gas roundtrip to the airport. We even did a little shopping.

Here is our budget for our upcoming November trip,

- Studio at AKV for 9 nights (Nov 11-20) at $10/point = $960.00

- 1 night accomodation at Howard Johnson in Portland (includes park n' fly) $73.74
- DDP that we will pay upon check in $755.82
- two 8 day base tickets and two 1 day universal tickets from undercover tourist $658.91
- Around $800.00 estimated for souvenirs, tips, mears shuttle to Universal and other meals not included in the dining plan.

For a total of $3672.97
