What's worse Mission Space or Body Wars

To me Mission Space is worse.

I take it Body Wars and Star Tours are about the same. Since Wonders of Life pavilion was closed on all my recent trips I don't recall how Body Wars felt.

Rode Star tours for the first time this past January and it wasn't as bad as I thought having chickened out all these past years.

Rode Mission Space once, started to feel uneasy halfway through, remained disoriented for at least a half hour afterwords although fortunately did not barf. "Never again" I thought.

The video that is played during the ride can also affect people differently. I get nauseous watching let alone playing some of the video games at Disney Quest.

The fact Mission Space has air sickness bags while Star Tours does not suggests that even Disney thinks Mission Space is "worse".

I've riden both and BW makes me nauseated. All that jerking around and if you sit too far forward, you don't get to really focus on anything.

I, too, was very worried about MS, but found it very easy to take. Like another poster said, it is very intense and can really screw you up if you turn your head (or any other "donts"). But it's mostly a mindgame...if you focus on what's going on and concentrate, you'll be just fine.

Just watch yourself when you walk out...I was shaking from all that adrenaline! :goodvibes

Well, I haven't done Body Wars because I did Star Tours and felt a bit sick afterwards. I heard Body Wars was worse, so I didn't go on it. I had already done MS the day before I tried Star Tours and had no problem with it at all. I won't do Star Tours again, but I will do MS again.

Cant to Body wars at all. But I loved Mission Space. What made all the difference for me was that in Mission Space there is something above each placement that blows cool air on you. In the simulator type rides what makes me sick is the motion makes me hot, and that upsets my stomach (same thing happens in cars in the winter with me). The air blowing on me made my eyes water, but it REALLY helped with the motion.

I guess it depends. My daughter was fine on the rides but, I saw a lady vomit after she got off MS and a man who had to sit down after the ride. Lots of people come out of MS into the gift shop walking side-ways :tilt:

Mission Space was worse for me. I'll never ride it again. Body Wars doesn't bother me one bit. I doubt you will get a concensus about this subject.

Body Wars!!! Yikes! I agree with the poster that said that it's like a bad car accident.

MS made me feel a little woosy, but it's a lot smoother than BW! Oh, and all the warning signs that they have posted every 2 feet makes your stomach go in knots way before you even get on the ride!! IMHO, I think unless your clostraphobic (?sp?) everyone should at least try this ride once!

Body wars is just a jerky ride. Mission Space is the ONLY, I repeat ONLY ride that I have ever gotten sick after. I ride any ride ToT, RRC, the Hulk, Dueling Dragons, etc and have never had a problem. We rode MS last Jan and out of our group of 5 thirty year old adults only 1 didn't get sick, and 1 had to go back to the room for the rest of the day. I don't know if it's the spinning but I will NEVER try MS again. I ride body wars and star tours all of the time.

I love the simulators...but absolutely adore Mission Space! It was the biggest "rush" I've ever experienced on a ride! I guarantee that on my next visit to WDW/Epcot, riding Mission Space again (and again, and again) will be my biggest thrill!!

However, DH, who is not bothered by Body Wars/Start Tours, will never ride Mission Space again - he said he felt disoriented for the rest of the day, the only time he rode. :confused3
