We'll be on the 2/25/06 Western, and I was wondering what the weather was like, water temp. I went to weather.com and could only find March of the this year. Is there a website where they post avg. temps by month?

I was reading a few posts the other day, and a few people mentioned that they didn't like Feb. because it was too cool on Castaway Cay.

I guess I need to order the new Passporter!

Thank you!!

Lisa

We were on the 02/26/05 Western cruise and we felt the weather was a little chilly. Key West was by far the best day of the cruise weather wise...temps in the low 80's. The rest of the week it was mid 70's. The day we docked at CC it rained all morning and the rest of the day it was cloudy so it never warmed up. My kids were in the ocean for about 15 minutes then wanted out because they were cold. One of the sea days it rained in the morning too so the kids clubs were completely booked, in fact, some parents/kids were turned away because the club was at max. capacity! That made for some angry parents! Despite the weather, we still had a great time and rebooked while onboard...this time for an October cruise though!

We've cruised twice in February, both eastern and western. This is the our month of choice. On our two trips the weather was awesome, sunny warm, like 80 degrees in Cozumel. Being from NJ the temps were delightful. We found CC to be fine, the water may have been a little chilly, but we had no problem with it. It seemed warmer than the Atlantic at our coast in August. We also don't like it really really hot, so we find this a perfect time of the year to go. We planning on going at the end of February next year.

I think that is a hit or miss at this time of year. We did last February, and it was cold, and rainy nearly the whole week.. Hopefully we were just unlucky, and it usualy is not the case.. :cool1:

Mind you, I will never book that early again...I will book a tad later in the warmers seasons...

We went the first week of Feb in 2003. Key West was a bit chilly - we were in shorts but kept light jackets on. By the time we got to Grand Cayman and Cozumel it was perfect, though! I will say that the water at Castaway Cay was quite a bit colder in Feb than it had been on our previous December cruise! The weather was fine, though.

We were also on the 26th Feb 05 Western, and only Key West was hot and sunny all day. However, we were also onboard the next week and it was beautiful. Previously, we have had 4 other weeks in Feb/March and they have all been hot and sunny. Just the luck of the draw I guess. No guarantee of good weather on any cruise Im afraid. Just enjoy the ride and relax. :confused3 Nat
